I finally feel like I am winning the battle against a three-day migraine. Yesterday I worked at the Day Job, got home after six, then went in my room, turned off all the lights, and proceeded to do nothing. Those of you who suffer from migraines know how light and sound become the enemy, and I didn't want to take more medication, because two solid days of Excedrin, Midrin, and Maxalt can't be good for me (note to anyone concerned - no, none of these meds contain narcotic ingredients, or my books would be MUCH more crazed than they currently are ;).
So this morning, I woke up with a small headache, not another migraine *cheers*. Two Excedrin later and it's sliding back into an occasional pain behind the eyes, which makes me hopeful that I can answer emails, reply to prior LJ comments, and work more on the werewolf short story.
Happy Friday, everyone. My goal is a cleared-out inbox and 2,000 new words today. Please send me positive vibes that I can accomplish both.

I'm impressed you can even go to the EDJ with a migraine, mine usually lay me out so bad that even thinking of moving is a crying offense.
Hope you feel better and can write!
Anyways hope you continue to feel better and get all that you want done :)

My sympathies!!!
My husband is disabled for migraines and I've seen what he goes through with a 3-dayer. He calls them suicide headaches if that gives you any idea how he suffers. Hope it stays away.
"I think you can."

I have been laid up with a fever and horrible cold and no appetite. I want a hamburger.
I feel you pain especially with a migraine. That is one thing I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Anyway. Happy Friday indeed. Good Luck!
I'd be happy to supply one for you, Jeanine.
I have great sympathy and understanding for others with migraines.
Hope you get what you want to get done, sometimes those TO DO LISTS are the death of me...
Good luck with those headaches.
