First, the very very good news. ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE is on the USA Today, the New York Times, and the Borders Romance bestseller lists for its third week in a row.
"Thank you" doesn't even begin to cover it. Sending hugs and sloppy cyber-kisses out to all of you!!!
And now, the not-so-good news. I'll be offline through the rest of the month while I throw myself into finishing revisions of book three, AT GRAVE'S END. It's due on my editor's desk June 1st, and I refuse to be late. Don't worry, that doesn't mean I'll just slap-happy some words onto a page and call it done, thus ensuring a crappy book later (even if I tried that, which I wouldn't, my editor would just lob it back to me with another spanking revision letter. She's awesome that way :). But it does mean that I'll be giving this book my full attention when I'm not at the day job, which cuts back my internet time a lot.
So, wish me inspired rewriting, please, and I'll see you all when I can post a blog that says "Finished!" :)

I figured this out when I went to B & N last week to buy it and I couldn't find it on the regular shelves. I spent 20 minutes searching everywhere and was about to lose it with them (something along the lines of "I KNOW this book is out and I KNOW the author and you BETTER have it shelved where everyone can find it or I WILL have your head on a platter..." I can be very diplomatic.) when a helpful salesperson directed me to the shelves in the front (the ones I blew right past when I entered) that house the best sellers.
And there you were! Yay on your best seller status and double Yay that I didn't say anything I'd regret. ;)
